Tutoring sessions are held in a relaxed learning environment and private sessions give your child the advantage of receiving customized programming and specialized attention. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate each family's unique and busy schedule is taken into consideration. Please note that as of March 2020, on-line/remote tutoring sessions are also available.

Individual Tutoring

Investment: $70.00/hour

Helping Hands offers tutoring sessions to children in Grades K-6.
  • All subject areas are directly linked to the Alberta Program of Studies.
  • Language Arts and Math are the primary focus. We also cover Social Studies and Science.
  • Enrichment programs are also available for students to enhance their learning.
  • Study skills and organizational skills are also targeted and developed.
  • On-line/remote tutoring available

Educational Consulting

Investment: $90/hour

Helping Hands gives parents the skills and tools to understand and discuss, with confidence, the following:
  • Information regarding modifications and accommodations for your child in their classroom.
  • Understanding the process of a psycho-educational assessment.
  • Assistance in helping develop your child's Individualized Program Plan (IPP).
  • Understanding Provincial Achievement Tests.
