What Sets Us Apart
Helping Hands Tutoring does not present a predetermined program like other tutoring companies offer! This is an individualized program catered specifically to your child's needs.
Your child will receive the individual attention that they require and deserve. Our goal is to help your child love learning and gain the confidence to enable them to succeed. Before tutoring begins, an informal assessment will be carried out to identify your child's learning style (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic) and which instructional approach will be most beneficial. We coordinate with the Alberta Curriculum and Program of Studies and are able to work with your child's teacher to ensure that your child is learning the content and skills they require. We consult with parents to assist them in better understanding their child's strengths and areas of need; to enable them to confidently and clearly communicate with teachers, school staff, and outside agencies. We also create a positive, supportive learning environment that will help your child to become the best student they can be. With our extensive experience inside the classroom, we cover all subject areas and help students with homework, test preparation, as well as organizational and study skills. On-line/remote tutoring sessions are also available as of March 2020. |
